Inflatable water slides…?
I found one of the giant inflatable waterslides “brand new in box” on ebay and I was just wondering what experiences you have had with them? The price is cheaper on ebay than it is for the same product buying it in the store, as they are very expensive. I have read a lot of negative reviews about the wear and these slides not holding up. I have also read reviews of positive experiences. I am thinking of purchasing it for my daughter’s birthday, and she is only 4 years old so I figure she can’t do too much damage to it, but just wondering if it would be worth the little bit of savings to get it from ebay or if I should buy it new in the store and have a receipt…or is it a waste of money and I should just forget it all together. Thanks!

We have one and my kids love it!! What kind was it? We had a Banzai Falls (slip and slide) kind. It’s held up quite well and even survived a massive summer storm and a tree falling on it!!! Even if the get holes in them, they still blow up. We set ours up on our lawn. I have a 10, 9 and 7 year old that use it, along with several neighborhood kids. And we’ve never had any problems with it at all!!
The kind we have is below.
I would not suggest getting one. I got one back in June for my boys, who are now 10, almost 8 and almost 4, but only my youngest son used it.
It got tiny holes WAY too easily. Within two weeks, there were 5 peices of ducktape covering them up. Just from it simply sitting on the pavement around the pool, it got holes. By July it was in the garbage and done with.
I don’t know what kind of pool you have but for your daughter, I would suggest getting one of the slides in this picture: http://www.twincitiesdailyphoto.com/2007/redneck_waterslide.jpg
which is what my boys do now…or getting her something like a slip and slide instead. They aren’t as expensive. If you’re going to do any kind of saving, it should be for a real water slide! Don’t waste your money. Inflatable waterslide…doesn’t even sound like it’ll last long
Best Wishes =]
They dont hold up. They get holes very easily.
haha. those things are a piece of crap. don’t waste your money on that. my middle daughter got was as a pre-school graduation gift last year…it lasted a week.
my brother bought one of these a while back for my 4 & 6yr neice. After two-three uses, it had several holes in it. For the amount of money the product is, it should hold up better. don’t waste your money.
My girls has a slip n slide growing up and they LOVED it. We paid like $40 dollars for it. A straight thing you lay across the lawn with a tiny little pool at the end…they’d use it for hours with friends and it lasted a few seasons. “Inflatable Waterslide” sounds like something that’ll fall apart.
My 7yr step son has this:

and he loves it. Cheap. Easy. Doesn’t fall apart.
I work for a inflatable place and I heard that those that consumers I guess well they are pieces of crap. Have you thought about renting one for her B-Day it would probably cheaper since your going to just use it for one day. Here is the site for the company I work for.
